In this Yamaha RX-A2000 Review I’ll give you the low down on this fantastic and innovative new A/V receiver, and hopefully shed some light on it’s incredible feature set for those of you still not sure whether you should buy it.
Peering underneath this elegant receiver, the first thing you notice is a fifth foot, which according to a Yamaha press release is there to “improve structural rigidity, reduce vibration, and improve sound”
Great idea if you ask me and even better when you consider that Yamaha is now offering an extra year to the warranty, bringing it up to three years for the Aventage AVRs.

First off the product came in less then 3 days of me ordering.
I was shocked how fast and pleased with the packaging.I am not one to understand the complete tech sides of their receivers but I know what was important to me.
1) The HDMI’s out.. I am using 5 and wanted more just in cass.
2) The 3 Zones. I am using 2 and will use 3 over the next few months.
3) The video/audio processing. Very happy.
4) The Sound Quality. I am using very good Yamaha/Pro Center speakers (7 speakers and subwoofer) and I am just blown away how great everything sounds. From movies to music and even commercials.Paul C.Rating:
The Yamaha RX-A2000 Review here, is one of five new A/V receivers in the “Aventage” (apparently short for A/V ENTertainment for the new AGE) series. I don’t know about you but I love a good acronym!
The other models in the range include the step-up RX-A3000 and three lower-priced models: RX-A700, RX-A800, and RX-A1000.
While you’ll get a little more rated power and more HDMI video adjustments in the step-up model, the Yamaha RX-A2000 in this review has most of the highly praised build-related features, the good gear in other words, so you can rest easy knowing your money has been well spent.
It includes 12 preset “scenes” suitable for DVD and Blu-ray, TV, CD and Radio among others and if you’re more technically proficient there is a lot you adjust manually.

It also comes equipped with 8 HDMI inputs and 2 HDMI outputs to handle 3D formats, and you can even hook it up to the internet via a networked computer or internet radio. Pretty cool.
Want to hook up your iPod or iPhone? No problem, you can do that too, either wirelessly or via a dock.
So all in all I’d have to say this is a top class receiver capable of producing some awe inspiring audio and proving that Yamaha’s recent claims of the “Aventage” series systems delivering extremely high quality sound are spot on. Until next time, I hope you liked this Yamaha RX-A2000 Review and if you like, feel free to leave a comment.
